In the day and age we live in, a different approach to dating is required. Our approach views dating as more than a simple introduction service that leaves a couple alone to sort out each other’s rights, privileges, and responsibilities in the future relationship. This approach would never be acceptable in a business partnership, nor should it be in a personal relationship.
Most notable in this line of thought are prenuptial agreements (PNAs), which are often created after a relationship has already developed. It is commonly believed that these agreements fully protect both parties; however, a number of court cases have found that a PNA can be overturned simply by one party claiming to a judge that they were “coerced” into signing the document.
Our approach is to establish a foundational agreement before you meet the other person. To become a Koala-fied Member, one must agree to creating a legal prenuptial agreement prior to cohabiting. This is clarity.
Step 0 in a Relationship is the Time to Write a Consideration Agreement and Prepare.
There are ten steps in any relationship. First is the introduction, and ten is the end of the relationship. Step five is cohabitation. It is extremely unromantic, at any stage from one to five, to ask for a prenuptial agreement. Your love interest would likely interpret this as planning for step ten, and after step five, even more so. There is no good time—period.
Therefore, only those who agree to a prenuptial agreement will become Members of Koala-fied before forming a relationship.
